PANASOLAR GENERATION
Panasolar Generation, S.A. is the licensee of the PANASOLAR I solar photovoltaic plant with an installed power of 12.1 MW-DC (9.9 MW-AC).
PANASOLAR I is located in the beautiful village of Vista Hermosa, Corregimiento de Pueblos Unidos (former Corregimiento de El Roble), Aguadulce district, Coclé Province.
The site is two and a half hours by car from Panama City proceeding west on the Panamericana highway.
PANASOLAR I, connects to the national transmission network (National Interconnected System) at the ETESA Substation (Electric Transmission Company) of Llano Sánchez through an air-underground electric subtransmission line of about 3 Km in length.
The plant produces and injects into the national grid about 20 GWh per-year of electricity, renewable, green and 100% clean, which sells predominantly to some large commercial and industrial establishments (Big Customers) through supply contracts long-term.
PANASOLAR I is certified by the Gold Standard Foundation (www.goldstandard.org) that allows it to market Carbon Credits with the highest unit value with the international carbon credit market for the reduction of greenhouse gases Greenhouse
